this is a crop from an iphone shot that josh took. i was quite impressed with the resolution and didn't even notice me in there until i cropped. that sheer cliff goes almost three times higher that what you see in this crop.
short break where a fault meets the canyon. air flowing down in there was ten to fifteen degrees cooler than just a stone throw away.
break time near confluence of buckskin and paria.
'high water route' in lower twelve miles was tough and no relief from mid day sun.
spring water coming from a seep in canyon wall. welcome relief to find water to refill our containers. eventually had to filter river water when no springs were available.
